CITB has announced the sale of Cskills Awards to NOCN (National Open College Network as was). The transfer will become effective as of 1st August 2017, with 24 Cskills Awards staff transferring their employment on that date.
The Awarding division of CITB is responsible for NVQ’s, Apprenticeship Frameworks and the Site Safety Plus group of courses.
Employers are not likely to notice any changes, the effects are more likely to be felt by FE Colleges and Private Training Providers whose quality of delivery of their products is currently monitored by Cskills Awards.
